Welcome to Hikeology Apparel! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) explain how you can use www.hikeologyapparel.com and purchase our hiking-themed t-shirts. Please read them carefully. By browsing or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who Can Use Our Site

  • Age: You must be at least 18 years old (or have a parent/guardian’s permission) to place an order.

  • Legal Capacity: You represent that you have the right to enter into a contract with us.

2. Placing Orders & Payment

  • How to Order: Add items to your cart, enter your shipping/payment details, and submit your order.

  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards and PayPal.

  • Currency & Region: All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). We currently ship only within the United States.

3. Shipping

  • Flat-Rate Shipping: A flat rate applies per item.

  • Free Shipping: On orders of 2 or more shirts.

  • Processing Time: Orders typically ship within 2–5 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email when we ship.

4. Returns & Exchanges

  • Return Window: You may return or exchange any item within 30 days of delivery.

  • Return Shipping: We cover the cost of return shipping.

  • Refunds & Exchanges: Choose a full refund or an exchange for another size/design. Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

5. Order Cancellations & Changes

  • Before Shipping: You may cancel or modify your order at any time prior to shipment by emailing support@hikeologyapparel.com.

  • After Shipping: Once your order has shipped, please use our return process above.

6. Intellectual Property

  • Our Designs: All artwork, logos, and designs on our site are owned by Hikeology Apparel (or the respective design owner).

  • Your Content: We do not allow customer reviews or photos at this time. If we add this feature later, you’ll retain ownership of your photos, but grant us a license to display them.

7. Promotions & Discounts

  • Current Offer: Free shipping on orders of 2 or more shirts.

  • Future Discounts: We may introduce promo codes, gift cards, or loyalty rewards later; any terms for those will be posted separately.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

  • “As-Is” Products: Colors and sizing may vary slightly from what you see on screen.

  • Liability Cap: Our total liability to you for any claim related to your purchase is limited to the total cost of your order, unless prohibited by law.

9. Notice Regarding AI-Generated Models

  • Synthetic Performers: All models shown wearing clothing on this website are synthetic performers.
  • Fully Digital: The images of people are AI-generated computer models.
  • No Real People: These images do not depict real, living human beings.
  • Product Purpose: We use these digital models solely to display and promote our t-shirts.
  • Legal Disclosure: This notice serves as a clear and conspicuous disclosure under applicable consumer laws.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. If we do, we’ll post the new version at www.hikeologyapparel.com/terms and update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the new Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state of Iowa, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Iowa.
